Being a biopolymer research group twenty years ago, we worked in projects related to medical applications for PGA/PLA.

Since 1993, we have focused on the manufacture and quality control of monomers for absorbable suture.

In the end of 2003, the group officially became GLACO Ltd, at which time we set up clean rooms with modern manufacturing facilities.

In 2004, we began to supply glycolide monomer to international medical polymer manufacturers, as a raw material of PGA used in absorbable sutures.

Since 2006, glycolide and lactide monomers have been supplied to more medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies and hundreds of research institutions specializing in monomer medical application research.

After upgraded producing and pack technique in 2008, we have been achieved ISO9001 international quality management systems certification since 2009,
